I spent the morning with Steve and Levi from the CVP. We went down to Miller Motorsports Park to shoot the motorcycles on their open track day. It was worth getting up early to head down. There were a ton of awesome bikes. We got most shots from near a couple of the tight turns where the riders had to lean hard and slow down and by slow they mean 60-75mph. Some of the riders said they were hitting 180 to 190 on the straight away, crazy fast. It was a great time, I wouldn't mind going down there again soon.

Day Hiking

The weather has been amazing lately so I can finally get out and hike. Yesterday I went up the canyon and bushwacked around and discovered this little hidden trail near Stokes Nature Center. It was later in the evening so I decided to go back and check it out today. This is where I ended up. The trail went steeply up the mountain through some lush forest and up some more on to the rocky higher slopes. It became really steep once I hit the rocky area. There were a lot of rattle snakes up there too. It was great to just sit at the top for awhile.
